Who got hit by those tornados a few days ago?
We did--it was ridiculous. The hail was the size of golf balls, and it sounded like a huge train was coming for us! But my family was really lucky--all we have are dents in our cars and one broken window on our house. My other friends had their car windows blown out and some even totaled. Crazy!
Did any of you guys get hit? |

We didn't get hit here with the last few storms that went through, but we normally do. It's awful what happened. And I heard some of the sirens failed to work? That's... horrible.
I live in Missouri, so >>; On the edge of tornado alley. /Yay/.
A month or two ago, I went to a storm spotter training course, because I got tired of having tornadoes randomly drop out of the sky in front of me xD;
I'm glad you're safe though. Tornadoes are a scary business. I hope everyone you know is safe as well, and rebuilding will go swiftly for them ^^

Geeze, that sucks! It's a brand new thing for us down here, especially where I live. I live in a valley, so storms almost always get stopped by the mountains and turned off. Which is sad, really, because the mountains get all kinds of snow and we get none *pouts*
But in these cases, I'm glad to have the mountains to protect us. How do you deal with all those tornadoes? |

I live in the hilly side of Missouri x3 So, normally we get hit with all sort of stuff. x <-- We get snow sometimes, or ice, sleet, freezing rain... well...
About any type of storm other than hurricanes, we get xD
This past year {when that was taken}, we had a freak storm that dumped 23 inches of snow on us. My mom made me go outside and shovel snow while it was still snowing, because she didn't think she would be able to get to work the next day.
It was a blizzard XD
But, the clouds we get in the summer --> x are really pretty after the storms.
As for tornadoes...
I've lived here all my life xD
I guess it is just I've been through so many, I know that they can hit us, and we take precautions when we know strong storms are going to come through. So -shrugs- |

I didn't. I don't really get any storms at all where I live. But, We've had two tornados before, and alot of hurricanes. My house is right behind the storm warning building so we kinda are always warned ahead of time when it is going to come through town.
