GENERAL
Name: Amberpawkit
Explanation: Amberpaw is named thus because of her beautiful orange and white pelt.
Gender: She-cat
Age: 10 Moons
Clan: Brushclan
Rank: Apprentice
APPEARANCE
Build: Quite skinny, thin and lithe
Fur: Orange and white
Eyes: Bright aqua blue
Markings: Tabby, scar on her nose from a bad encounter with one of the fox dens found recently in Brushclan territory
Overall:
Amberpaw, as her name suggests, is an amber-coloured female tabby. Her orange and white stripes often stand out against the green of the foliage and brown of the earth. Her chest and left leg are white as well as some thicker stripes on her tail. Amberpaw has long, white whiskers and eyebrows. The most shocking of all of her features is clearly the bright aqua eyes. As a kit her eyes were blue, but soon they turned a bright aqua colour, very distinct but often annoying.
Amberpaw is a slim female, although strong. Her slender figure makes it easy for her to dodge around brush and often makes her faster than her clanmates for they often get stuck in the thick brambles that Amberpaw can easily squeeze through. Being skinny, the apprentice barely weighs a thing. Although Amberpaw is slim, she does not appear to be overly skinny. She is rather small in all aspects. Her legs are not very long, making her short, which makes stalking prey and hiding from predators quite easy, save for her glow-in-the-dark aqua eyes.

Other:
Amberpaw is a very sweet cat. You can trust her if you have a secret, for she will tell no one. Unless, of course, it is important to let a higher authority figure know. She does what is best for her entire clan, not just one individual. Amberpaw is smart and a very quick thinker. She can formulate plans within a microsecond. Whether these plans are of good intention or not, that is another story all together. She is definitely mischievous, something that her clan is known for. Playing practical jokes upon her clanmates is something she is notorious for. Of course, she keeps it within reason. Amberpaw can be a little vain. She likes to think of herself as quite beautiful. But then again, she likes to think that everything has a good side, even the cats that she doesn't like. Amberpaw is a little stubborn at times and often finds herself impatient. She hates having to wait for decisions to be made, mostly because she herself finds it easy to make split-second decisions. Although she has her faults, Amberpaw is loving and loyal, she would do anything for her friends.
HISTORY
Family:
Father - Fireclaw - Deceased
Mother - Ivysong - Alive
Brother - Cedarstorm - Alive
Brother - Stripedpaw - Alive
Brother - Hawkpaw - Alive
History:
Amberpaw's history is not a long one - yet. Although she has barely began her life, it is still rich and has been quite enjoyable. Her mother and father were warriors who were pretty well respected. They had had one litter of kits before Amberpaw and her two brothers came along. However, only one of her older siblings have survived, Cedarstorm. The other two died at birth and were unnamed.
Amberpaw and her brothers' birth was a happy one. The three kits were healthy and born during a time in which there was plenty of freshkill to be had. Ivysong, their mother, was a caring and nurturing soul. She spent plenty of hours taking care of her kits, making sure they had all they needed to make it in the tough world outside of the nursery. However, tragedy struck the happy family when Fireclaw, Ivysongs mate, died in an accident. He had been hunting after a heavy storm and slipped on some wet foliage, slipping down a hill. He was unable to regain control because the earth was slick with wet leaves and crashed into a tree. It seemed such a simple thing, something that shouldn't have happened. However, Fireclaw was going too fast and he hurt himself beyond repair. The family still grieves their loss, but accepts that he has moved on and has joined Starclan. Now, Fireclaw watches them from above.
The accident happened a moon before the three siblings were to be made into apprentices. At the time, Amberkit was terribly excited. She was smart and eager to learn. Her optimist ways proved to be a great thing as she was barely even nervous when she was made an apprentice. She followed her brothers and met her mentor. She easily went along with the clan rituals, and was eager to start her training.
Amberpaw turned out to be a quick learner. She took easily to being stealthy and hunting seemed to be no problem for her. Although the heat vision at night was a bit un-nerving at first, she quickly got used to it and used it to her advantage. Amberpaw did have one difficulty, something she still struggles with now. Her bright aqua eyes often give her away to prey as well as predators. One such case is what gave Amberpaw the scar on the bridge of her nose. She was happily hunting in the near-dark hours. She had forgotten, once again, that her eyes glow and was sneaking up to the back of a rabbit. It had been unaware of her careful, quiet approach. However, a fox den that the clan was unaware of was close by. One of said foxes, seeing her glowing eyes, attacked. Luckily, it was bigger than Amberpaw, who was able to quickly run away through the underbrush, but not before the fox got one good swipe at her nose.
After that incident, Amberpaw has gotten much better at hiding her glowing aqua eyes. She believes she is ready to become a full warrior, but only her mentor shall be able to determine that.
RP SAMPLE
The apprentice crouched low in the brush, letting the branches shield her from her enemy. It was daytime, the sun was filtering in softly from above, the shadow of the leaves making patterns on the forest floor. These patterns helped her camouflage, although her bright orange pelt would easily give her away if her enemy would even take a backward glance. Silently, Amberpaw crept closer to her prey, her tail swishing slightly from side to side. She was unable to keep it still, the thrill of the hunt was too intense. Suddenly, as if there was some unseen command, the cat pounced. Her strong legs propelled herself forward, toward the enemy with claws out.
Amberpaw let out a high-pitched laugh as she landed upon her brother, Stripedpaw. She quickly bounded off to the side before he could get back at her. "Too slow, little brother." The female taunted, putting emphasis on the word little. Her brother was only a smidgen smaller than her, but she loved to bug him about it. Amberpaw was already a smaller feline, and to have an even littler brother, it was hilarious!
"Guess you're going to have to clean the moss out of your ears if you're ever going to become a real warrior!" Amberpaw chided, prancing around her brother. "I, on the other hand, could have heard you coming from the other end of the forest!" The girl loved to annoy her brothers. They were so easily agitated it wasn't even funny, especially Stripedpaw. Hawkpaw was another story, though. He was too relaxed, unliked Amberpaw, who loved to play jokes on cats and never hesitated to say what she really thought.
"Well? Are you going to practice with me, or not?" Amberpaw questioned, her bright aqua eyes wide with excitement. If there was one thing she loved, it was proving that she was an excellent huntress. The apprentice stretched her muscles, showing off in front of her brother who was more lanky than her. Of course, Stripedpaw would probably grow to be bigger than her and a better fighter. Even Amberpaw knew that one day she would regret bullying him. But for now, it was too fun to make a display of how she was a better hunter than he was.
