A small, badger-sized hole set in the side of the tall cliffs is the only well-known entrance to CliffClan's camp. The hole runs down in a tunnel large enough for two full-grown cats to walk together, gradually growing larger, until it opens into a small cavern large enough to comfortably house the cats of CliffClan.

Ledges and outcroppings of rocks beneath and around the entrance make it possible for CliffClan warriors and birds to get in and out, but very few other creatures can make it to CliffClan's camp.

Named for the fact that seagulls commonly roost in the crevices and caves, the Gull Cliffs make up the main part of CliffClan territory. The cliffs plunge straight down into the sea and are covered in cracks, ledges, and outcroppings.

The main prey that can be found here are the seagulls that roost in the holes and the fish from the ocean just below. The main predators are the eagles and hawks that sometimes roost here as well.

Common prey: gulls and other birds

The very top of the cliff is flat and wide, spotted with the occasional patch of bushes and grasses, and can be a nice resting place for CliffClan cats. Apprentices are taught basic hunting and flying techniques here, where there is less chance of them falling to their doom, and sometimes a cat is lucky enough to catch the occasional mouse.

Common prey: mice and birds

Set in the thickest tangle of bushes and vines within the thick forest of BrushClan territory, the camp is difficult to squeeze into and nearly impossible to find.

Once past the first wall of brush, the camp opens up slightly to reveal a reasonably open space for BrushClan cats to share tongues. The dens, however, are a mass of tangled vines and ferns that only BrushClan cats could be comfortable in.

This thick forest is overgrown with trees, roots, bushes, vines, ferns, and all types of weeds and underbrush. There is rarely an open patch of ground to be found, and very few clearings. It takes a skilled cat to stalk silently through this place, and very few cats besides BrushClan warriors are successful hunters here.

Common prey: mice, birds, moles, and rabbits

This wide creek forces its way through BrushClan's Forest, running between close-growing trees and cluttered bushes. The creek itself is often full of fallen leaves, twigs, and branches, but still manages to attract all manner of predators and prey.

Common prey: watervoles, mice, and waterfowl

There is no real, official camp for WaveClan. They prefer to spend their nights in the open air, lying on the sand dunes or sandy beach. In this way they are spectacularly open to attack, but their love of the open sea breeze overrules their worry.

When bad weather does strike, the cats of WaveClan take shelter among the few patches of grass and bushes growing between the sand dunes.

Taking over most of WaveClan territory is the flat beach known as Piper Beach, named for the long-legged sand pipers that inhabit it. When the tide is low, tidepools hold minnows and crawfish, but WaveClan warriors prefer to fish in the open sea.

Common prey animals that can be found here are fish, crawdads, sandpipers, and seagulls.

At the edge of WaveClan territory lie rolling sand dunes. Patches of cacti, bushes, and grasses grow in between the dunes, hiding rabbits and foxes alike.

When bad weather strikes, the cats of GrassClan make their camp in the one small patch of woodland in their territory. They take shelter in the middle of leafy bushes or in the hollows of old tree trunks.

However, during most nice nights, the cats of GrassClan sleep out under the stars on the open grasslands they love so much.

Flat and covered in fox-tall grass, the plains of GrassClan's territory seem to stretch for miles in all directions. Patches of wildflowers and the occasional bush break the flow of lush green grass. Such flat land makes it easy for GrassClan cats to spot predators, prey, and intruders, but it also makes it difficult for them to hide.

Common prey animals include rabbits, field mice, and prairie pheasants, if a cat is fast enough to catch them.

This small patch of woodland provides the only real covering in all of GrassClan's territory. Tall, branchy trees reach high into the sky, while the occasional underbrush hides prey and predators alike. GrassClan's camp can be found here.

CliffClan/All Clans

The territory of CliffClan rises high into the sky, and is made solely of the tall cliffs, plateau-like clifftops, and the sea surrounding. Therefore the only borders between CliffClan and the rest of the Clans are the steep cliff walls, which no normal cat could hope to climb. CliffClan and GrassClan only touch on one small corner.

GrassClan//WaveClan

Notoriously vague, the border between GrassClan and WaveClan is the stretch of ground that can be considered neither dunes nor coastal plain. It can be best defined as a strip of sandy grass. However, the wind has been known to blow the sand more towards one Clan or the other, adding to the uncertainty about where the border truly lies.

BrushClan//GrassClan

This long river winds its way through the Woodlands of GrassClan and slithers along the thick underbrush of BrushClan. It is said, long ago, that the river tried to enter BrushClan territory, but there was too much vegetation and it turned away. Whatever the reason, the river runs along the border between BrushClan and GrassClan. It empties into the sea, and so when the season is right, salmon fight their way upriver, creating an abundant food source.

There are two places that are hallowed ground for Clan cats. Two places where fighting is not permitted at any time: Wildflower Meadow and the Starlit Cavern.

These forested islands lie a mile or so out in the ocean touching CliffClan and WaveClan territory. The flyers of CliffClan and the swimmers of WaveClan are the only cats ever to make it out to these islands, and the islands provide a perfect place to gather extra prey. The only problem is getting it back to camp.

Were a cat to walk far enough along the coastal plains outside of GrassClan territory, they would eventually reach the bog. Several tall, skeletal tress rise from smelly, stagnant green water. Only a few of the dozens of puddles and ponds are safe to drink, and thick, sucking mud has brought done more than a few unwary travelers, even going so far as to claim the lives of the occasional wayward WaveClanner.

Newleaf and Greenleaf are the most popular times when Twolegs travel to the beach adjoining WaveClan's territory, though some twolegs are here year-round. Tall, colorful twoleg nests stand by the beach, and twoleg kits often come onto the beach to splash in the surf or chase their dogs.

Seagulls flock to this beach, where the twolegs feed them, and this is a popular place for loners, rogues, and kittypets, (those who have not been blessed) to come and have a snack. Clan cats keep clear of this area, however, for fear of revealing their odd forms.
